It was September 2, 1966 that the Askur Grill was opened, one the first
restaurants in Iceland
to serve hamburgers, American-style. From the very start, Askur’s
goal has been to use only top quality ingredients, as well to be the
first European restaurant to provide fat-content information for our
meats. We also present various original features, such as an open kitchen
so that diners can observe our chefs in action. Askur was Iceland’s
first barbeque restaurant, offering grilled chicken, fire-roasted lamb chops
and beef steak, and of course our famous cocktail sauce and coleslaw. We
at Askur do our best to provide only the best, and use high quality,
exellent service and an enjoyable atmosphere as our guides.

Lunch buffet Mondays through Fridays kr. 2.290.-
Steak buffet every saunday from 6:00 pm kr. 3790.-
